Who can enter the Retail category?
This category is open to anyone in the retail sector who excels at selling
goods to end users from permanent premises.
What are the judges looking for in this category?
The Retail Excellence Award recognises retailers who demonstrate
outstanding customer focus, sound management, good quality products
and strong marketing.
Evaluation criteria:
• A focus on delivering and developing customer satisfaction.
• Evidence of Marketing, Customer Research and Customer
Intelligence.
• An ongoing training and development programme for staff.
• Evidence of excellent retailing skills.
• An innovative and creative store layout, including the presentation of
products - designed with customer satisfaction in mind.
