Who can enter the Professional Services category?
The Excellence in Professional Services award has proved to be an
extremely popular category attracting a broad variety of businesses, small
and large, and covering a diverse range of industries.
This category is open to any organisation whose main business is providing
service rather than a product. Your business may be: law, hairdressing, real
estate, consulting, healthcare, accountancy or plumbing, or you may be from
a completely different sector. Regardless, we’d encourage you to enter.
What are the judges looking for in this category?
The judges are seeking to recognise a professional service organisation that
demonstrates great execution of good business ideas and has developed
and remained focussed on their customer/client base. They will have
acquired unique strengths and achieved a competitive advantage.
Evaluation criteria:
• Evidence of excellent business performance including effective
management, strategic thinking and business planning, knowledge of
market/s & customer/clients, effective administrative and financial
systems.
• The businesses’ strengths and competitive advantages and what the
business believe attributed to these achievements.
• The businesses’ commitment to delivering quality, of customer/client
satisfaction and repeat business, and of the potential for continued
business success and future growth.
